Peers Suriname, launched in 2011, is a platform that connects Surinamese (young) professionals through social and business networking events.
We are committed to connecting (seasoned) professionals, start-ups and students in Suriname. We bring people together through networking events, workshops and other activities.
In doing so, we encourage transfer of knowledge and collaboration. Our goal is to make a positive contribution to the development of Suriname and to provide a platform where ideas can sprout and grow.

Peers Professional
has played a crucial role since 2016 in facilitating informed discussions on critical issues such as security, better healthcare, better education and more.
By organising quarterly Peers Professional events on the topic of 'The Future of Suriname', we encourage dialogue within society. This need has grown with developments in the oil and gas industry.
Speakers from various sectors are invited to give a short presentation based on their expertise, followed by a discussion of certain propositions that aim to answer the question of how Suriname can better prepare for these developments.
By involving the audience, we make the evening interactive so that we can learn from each other.
Afterwards, we make time for networking with drinks, something Peers has become well-known for.

You are the best, you expect the best, and you get the best. Peers Exclusive came to fruition upon multiple requests from directors, managers and business owners within our network, to be able to meet and connect with like-minded peers in an environment that is not business related.
Peers Exclusive is a cultural event where we bring a magnificent community of people who enjoy the allure of a refined and elegant lifestyle together. It is a moment that inspires a great atmosphere, great people and great stories.
This event always takes place in a restaurant, strating with an off-menu multiple course dining experience, accompanied by special champagnes.
